DeSurvey IAM released
The DeSurvey Integrated Assessment Model (IAM) is a modelling framework for regional development and desertification that was developed within the DeSurvey project. It includes a number of socio-economic and bio-physical models that can be selected for region-specific applications based on the issues at stake, the data availability and the extent of the area. Applications are provided in the form of Spatial Decision Support Systems that allow assessing the impact of alternative policies or scenarios on a range of indicators.
